About Me: I'm commercial writer/editor with more than 15 years experience in the areas of broadcast/print journalism, marketing communications, creative and technical writing. Before penning my urban fantasy, "Sleeping With A D-Man" I held several positions in Finance, Trade Book publishing, Nonprofit and Media. However, it was in my position as a News Anchor/Reporter, covering civic, political and consumer activity for both CBS Network affiliate, WTRF-TV and Clear Channel radio station, WWVA in the Ohio Valley did I learn the fine-art of storytelling. I'm a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA), Essentially Woman, an on-line writing group of talented women of African Descent, and The League of Black Women. I'm a former member of National Association of Black Journalists. I own The Leadstory, a Media communications firm specializing in Public Affairs.
